The four-star Puluong Luna Resort is located within the Pu Luong Nature Reserve in Ba Thuoc District, Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam. "Pu Luong" in Thai language is the highest peak. Situated at the height of 1,700 m above the sea level, Pu Luong peak is immersed in a satisfying ambience of clean and cool air. The total area of the nature reserve is 17,663 ha with three quarters of it being the primeval tropical forest, which is the host to 84 mammal species (including 24 diffrent bat species), 162 bird species, 55 fish species 28 reptile species, and 13 amphibian species that have been registered to date. The biodiversity of the flora and fauna system is extraordinary, and it was chosen to be the residence home for the Muong and Thai people.

Read More"We were greeted with warm smiles, enthusiasm for the local area, kind staff and wonderful food. We arrived cold from our ride to the area and within minutes an open fire was lite for us. This is the most relaxing place in Vietnam and we didn't want to leave. The timber buildings are beautifully designed and well built. The food in the restaurant is cooked fresh for each sitting and is exquisite. It's worth mentioning that the food is prepared using traditional ethods, using wood fire to cook so I would recommend ordering in advance to avoid waiting. This isn't fast food, it's a lovinlgly prepared feast that i stailored to your tastes. So no bones in any of our meals for example.

"In one word - wow! All the stay from the beginning to the end... The room was super clean and beautiful with gorgeous view, we had problem with the air conditioner and the owner immediately transferred us to a different room.
It's quite new family business, the husband have bulit by himself this beautiful place and they running it together with a lovely and welcoming staff! The food here is delicious, during all our stay in Pu Luong we ate only here and we're waiting for our next meal each time! We came here to celebrate our honeymoon and the owner offered cocktalis on the house for celebrating!
You definitely should come here! If you don't have option to stay here for night, just come and have dinner!
"We loved that it was off the beaten track and you could walk uninterrupted in the country side. The walk tothe fabulous water wheels was lovely, meeting all sorts fo local people on the way without a tourist in site. the swimming pool would have been lovely but unfortunately the weather was not! The staff were very helpful including taking us to visit a local family in a traditional stilt house. The room and bed were very comfy and with a great view."
